Dusty 1987
"Dusty" was born on our old homeplace.
Had him gelded at a year and half old. broke him to ride myself. Moved
him & his mother "Baby" to Tuleta, Tx. in '76. when Gov. relocated
us for dam building. Moved back to Snoga ranch, one mile west of
Calliham in '77. Sold his mother. Rode him in cow work and
transportation for 25 years. Was wonderful smart tough great companion.
Died in 98. Used to ride him from Calliham to uncle Dave's place in
Simmons. Worked on Whitmire ranch many years on him.
